Job Requirements
- Someone with JLPT Level 2 Japanese language ability or higher(MUST be able to adequately communicate in the workplace and understand work responsibilities in Japanese)
- This position is needed to be the one who lives in Japan at the moment, no applications accepted from overseas candidates
Required Skills and Experience
- Advanced programming skills in Python, C, C#, and open sources libraries(OpenCV/NumPy/Pandas)
- Advanced programming skills in Unity/Gazebo, and Robot Operating System (ROS)
- Experience in developing applications/programs in image processing using deep learning libraries
- Embedded software development and IoT integration
- Programming experience in both Linux and Windows OS
- Programming experience in VR applications
- Knowledge of methods in experimental psychology or eye movement recording would be a plus but is not a requirement for the position.
- Basic English/Chinese communication abilities are added advantages

 Development of visual and auditory cognition systems for robots
 Development of a system for robot behavior generation
 System development for telecontrol and automation of robot simulators and robot physical units
 System development of experiment and data processing

 Able to work as a team, and to understand and use programs written by team membersPreferred start date
